A song I played back when I was just starting to learn guitar.
Math is my home turf โ I keep coming back to it because a proof either works or it doesn't, and that honesty is addictive. Outside class I play guitar and bass (rock, some funk). On this site I keep public notes for the contests I'm preparing for: HiMCM modeling, USAAIO, the digital SAT, and USACO. Public because writing it down forces me to actually understand it.

High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Two-week team contest, real-world problems, 25-page paper. Target: November 4โ17, 2026.
USA AI Olympiad. Math foundations, Python data stack, classical ML, PyTorch deep learning, transformers โ selection path to IOAI / IAIO.
Digital SAT prep. Adaptive Reading & Writing, Math sections, Bluebook full-length practice, error-log workflow that turns missed questions into permanent gains.
USA Computing Olympiad. Algorithms and data structures, progressing from Bronze through Platinum across four contest rounds (Dec, Jan, Feb, US Open).
I'm Barry, a Grade 9 student in the US. The subjects that stuck for me are math and, lately, machine learning โ both reward you for being precise about what you actually know vs. what you've been told. Outside school I play guitar and bass, mostly rock and funk.
Why this site exists: I noticed that when I "study" a topic by reading, I forget it in a week. When I write it down for someone else to read, I remember it. So every contest I prep for gets its own workbench here โ notes I wrote in my own words, drills, practice problems, mocks, and a plan with real dates. If it helps another student, even better. Static HTML, deployed to Cloudflare Pages.
Built and maintained by me. If you spot a mistake, please tell me โ the contest pages especially are works in progress and I'd rather be corrected than confidently wrong.
